Welcome to Westhope Craft College where we put the development of creativity and fulfilment for all at the forefront of our aims.
Westhope Craft College offers a programme of stimulating courses in a variety of craft subjects including Fashion, Textiles, Embroidery, Patchwork, Jewellery, Glass, Clay and Paper crafts.

Founded in 1981 by Anne Dyer the college is located in the rural beauty of the South Shropshire hills, Westhope College is also a City and Guilds centre of excellence.
The craft facilities include four classrooms, a large outdoor workspace, and a superb reference library. The college gardens are extensive with herbaceous borders, ponds and stream as well as a woodland walk
and walled vegetable garden.
Your next event in Shropshire!
We welcome guilds, societies, institutes, and other groups to spend time relaxing in a tranquil setting.
The College is available for hire for specialist courses or even for private groups, it is regularly used by different guilds, societies, institutes and others just wishing to gather in the peace of the South Shropshire Hills.
Student of the month
Jenny Thomas produced this wonderful piece of jewellery as a commission for a friend.

Jenny, who lives in Bomere Heath, has been a long term supporter of Westhope Craft College for many years.

Her work at Westhope has earned her a City and Guilds qualification in costume jewellery and she has gone to take a City and Guilds course in Tassels and Braids.

Her work over many years at Westhope has included courses in glass and pottery.
