Silver Jewellery in a Day
Spend a day learning simple techniques to produce your own metal
jewellery.
Practise tool use and model-making in copper first, then lose yourself
in the magical process of turning silver into unique pieces of jewellery
before your very eyes!
Choose between a simple ring or pendant and
create one or two beautiful pieces of simple jewellery to take home.
This workshop is suitable for complete beginners as well as those
looking to improve their skills.

Silver Clay Jewellery
Spend a day designing and creating unique silver jewellery.
Choose from a selection of items, maybe a ring, a pendant or a pair of
earrings, creating each piece to your own design and specifications.
Lots of samples will be available for inspiration.
You will learn how to prepare and handle your silver clay, discovering
the versatility of this medium through rolling, texturing and cutting
techniques.
You will be shown how to combine both clay and fireable stones, how to
prepare your pieces for firing and how to professionally finish your
work to a high standard. Your finished pieces could be perfect gifts for
family and friends!
This workshop is suitable for complete beginners as well as people who
want to spend a day playing with silver clay.
A light lunch, refreshments and all materials to make one piece are
included in the workshop fee. Stones, chains and fittings may be extra,
payable to the tutor on the day.

Silver Clay Play Day
A day to play with silver clay! With 10g of clay to use, you could make a pendant, a pin brooch, a ring or an earrings and pendant set. Use fireable stones, make moulded shapes, or just sculpt something, either for yourself or as a gift.
A discussion will take place first to make sure you get the best from your clay and the day, then you will be guided through the construction, firing and initial polishing of your piece. You can watch the demonstration of other techniques to give you ideas for future projects.
Take home a solid silver piece at the end of the day.
This workshop is suitable for complete beginners as well as more experienced silver clay makers.
