STEVIE WALKER

Stevie is a designer/maker and textiles tutor who lives and works in the picturesque village of Cardington, Shropshire. A C & G medallist and Charles Henry Foyle finalist, she specialises in embroidery but combines this with felt making, needle felting with an embellisher machine, mixed media, paper making and computer imagery.

She teaches at Westhope College, Acton Scott Historic Working Farm, and freelance for Shropshire Council and other groups such as the Embroiderers’ Guild, Charities for the disabled and Social Services.

She is a member of Shropshire Guild of Contemporary Craft and exhibits regularly at Contemporary Craft Shows. She also exhibits regularly with the Textiles Group ‘Marches Makers’.
