Lin Charlston
Lin Charlston has been a practising book artist since 2000 when she gained an MA in Book-Arts at Camberwell College of Art. She has shown her artist’s books internationally and has sold work to The British Library, Tate Britain and
The British Art Library. She teaches mainly at Westhope College but has run workshops elsewhere including The Sidney Nolan Trust in Presteigne, Plas Tan y Bwlch, Tate Britain and, in 2010, at the V&A.
Lin has been ‘a regular’ at Westhope for the last seven years, first as a student
and more recently as a tutor. She completed the City and Guild Diploma in
Creative Embroidery here in 2007.
Lin was made a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts in 2006.
