THE FUTURE OF CITY AND GUILDS CREATIVE CRAFTS

We are aware that many Colleges have closed, or are closing, their City and Guilds Creative Crafts courses. As a C&G Centre of Excellence, we would like to continue to offer students the opportunity to study their chosen craft in a supportive environment.

We have been speaking to people at various Craft Shows and it is evident that many people would like to follow a City and Guilds course of study but that they are unable to do so on a weekly or fortnightly basis.  Consequently, we are looking into the possibility of running modular City and Guilds courses on a monthly or two monthly basis.

Alternatively, if you live close enough, why not come and see us at our Annual City and Guilds Exhibition to be held this year on 5 and 6 July 2008 from 10am until 4pm and speak to the tutors.

We would encourage you to talk to us because unless you do, we won’t know whether there is sufficient demand to run Creative Crafts courses.
