Family Scarecrow Workshop & Picnic

My scarecrow Jim is an enduring, decorative and much loved fixture in my vegetable garden but more than just that; I had a wonderful time creating him in the image of his namesake who used to live in our cottage in the 1930s. This workshop is your chance to create your own garden treasure and have a fun time doing it. So come along alone or as a family to produce a quality male or female scarecrow dressed in style/period of your choice (Victorian/Edwardian, wartime, 1960s, contemporary etc) that should last outside for several years and be worthy of any scarecrow event or class in the local show. This family friendly day is suitable for you to bring children aged 10+. A pinic lunch is included in the price to make a great day out.
