Seminar Rooms
The Long Room - a large room which can easily seat 25 students at work tables. This room is used mainly for 'dry' crafts and textiles. Worktops round the outside of the room are home to college sewing machines.
The Rumble Room - our 'messy' room with easy-clean surfaces and a large sink room . It is here that students can make felt, paint, mess with clay, and experiment in mixed media techniques. Maximum number of students: 16
The Dyer Room - a bright and light fashion studio housed in the conservatory. It is home to overlockers and sewing machines and seats 10 students at work tables.
The Solar - situated on the first floor, this is now our computer suite, with 5 desktop computers with flat screens. It is also a 'dry' craft area and is used occasionally for embroidery or patchwork classes, seating up to 12 students comfortably.
Outside Studios
Two small studios just outside the main building are for glass and clay. Each have an appropriate kiln. We are in the process of developing a framing studio.
The Pergola is on outdoor studio, suitable for glass cutting and processes which require ventilation.
